People share pictures of their pooches getting into Christmas mischief (with some VERY bizarre results)

Pet owners have been sharing pictures of their dogs getting into the festive spirit – with some disastrous results.

While some have made it onto Santa’s Nice List, a few mischievous pooches will be getting coal in their stockings after tearing down baubles, soiling carpets and chewing up decorations in these hilarious snaps sweeping social media.

Taking to Twitter, dog owner RevanGamingYT shared a picture of their pup tangled up in a string of multicoloured fairy lights with the caption: ‘My dog had some fun.’
